For years, I’ve made tinctures, salves, and herbal remedies for our family and will always be found with a hardy supply of teas, ideally the more local the better. As I’ve learned more, I’ve found there are very few local tea options that actually use locally foraged ingredients. I knew a lot about local plant variety and have used them myself often. So, I decided to go back to school and study something that had always been a passion of mine: herbalism.

I have always worked the 9-5. I felt the days became a constant battle of just barely spending time with my children, especially with my husband working out of town. I never had intended to be a stay at home mom, and quite frankly, I still think I’m no good at it. This journey is equally growing a small business and that of personal wellness. Not all days go according to plan but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the time I spend outdoors with my children, learning, growing, and connecting with nature, is the greatest measure of success I could ask for.
